Exponential Growth and Decay

Topic

Exponential Growth and Decay

Subject

Pre-Algebra and Algebra

Grades

8th-9th

Overview: Students explore the concept of exponential functions after reviewing linear functions.  Students use tables, graphs, equations, STELLA® and the iceberg visual to construct models, modifying their understanding of slope, y-intercept, and base given an exponential function.
