Book – If You Give a Mouse a Cookie

Grades

K-2

Overview: We read the book together drawing and cutting out a small picture of each of the mouse’s needs/wants.  As we cut out the pictures we glued them, in order onto a string.  When we got to the end of the story the students were asked if we needed to cut out another cookie. They said no we just needed to connect the two ends of the string. An example of circular causality.
